OK, I have tried the search facility and can't seem to find the info i need.
I want to upgrade my operating system, i'm currently using XP, and i want to try out Win7, but this will involve a new install, so i need to save all my characters if possible. Can this be done? If so how?
BTW, does anyone know if M08 will run on Win7?
Thanks in advance. |

| Back them up on to a CD or to a USB or some other form of external storage. Another option is just to upload them on to a website and then download them again after the installation. |

| Your save files should be located in the "Save" subfolder in the Diablo II folder. |

If you get Vanilla D2 to run on Windows7, Median will work, too.
Running Windows7 on a Notebook and i had less problems than with Vista.
No problems during installation - selected compability Mode (WinXP SP3) and it worked.
