Yes, but with additional +%ED. So you won't boost your poison damage, for example, but you will do more physical damage with it. |

Median 1 had an absolute torrent of these. Lemures was basically what Magic Missiles is now, except it did damage based on the difference between max mana and max life. I think there was one that did damage based on gold in stash, too.
This is absolutely an unholy paladin thing, too. +1% Mind Flay damage per 10K gold carried?  |

Erm... I don't get it. So You're saying that a single-target skill that has " deals 3/2 weapon damage" in its description actually deals 1/1 weapon damage on the initial melee strike (which is, uh...the entirity of the skill), but with additional +%ED. Okay. Now I'm confused. So Ways damage are not actually affected by the Shadow Refuge modifier, but ARE affected by Hades Gate's 5/4 modifier?
(If this wasn't D2 we're talking about, I'd probably dismiss my own question as trolling, but here? Anything is possible )

Overpowered in hardcore mode!
Seriously, do it! The interesting damage/skill concepts are way more entertaining than the usual "max stats" paradigm in Diablo II, just avoid the quirky skills like Soulshatter.  |
