^Title^
You can make quite cool games if u know how to use it, I'm just thinking that I cant be the only one on this forum that uses it.
So anyone?

I'm currently working on a side scrolling space shooter with randomly generated levels, it will have 20 levels and 4 boss levels and Im putting the last boss together right now.
The game looks like this :

It is called "Center of the Universe".
You can check out my games here if you want.

Ignore the green text in the left corner its only there because of a program called rivatuner.
The hp(red text) will be changed to a life bar or something.
Well anyways would be cool if Im not the only one here using this tool.

I have used Game Maker before in school. In my class IP30 (Information Processing), we made a game based on our school. It was like an RPG, except we were rushed for time at the end of school, so the game turned out pretty crappy, and it takes ages to load (10 mins because of all the sprites and objects it had to load Razz)

Your game looks pretty cool. Scrolling shooters are always fun to make. Are you using the drag and drop method, or are you using coding (just curious Smile)?

I have never been good with giving a game (or anything else for that matter) an name, so I couldn't help you out with figuring out a name for your game. But good luck all the same Very Happy

I mostly use drag and drop but there are things that can be done with code that cant be done with the other so sometimes coding is needed. Smile
I'm bad at naming things too so I'm in need of inspiration. Razz

It has arrived and it is named "Center of the Universe".
I decided to upload it on a site called http://www.yoyogames.com/(the official game maker site) where I have uploaded two of my other games.
You can check out my games here if you want.

Simple games (like mazes) can be made easily with the drag and drop method. More advanced things such as RPG's require some extent of code. I should know, we had to make an RPG last year in our computer class Razz
